THE YASAWA ISLANDS
The majestic Yasawa Island group is the playground for Awesome Adventures Fiji. This chain of 20 ancient islands is undoubtedly one of the most stunning regions in Fiji. Formed millions of years ago by volcanoes, the southern most islands of Kuata and Waya Lailai have dramatic elevations. Further north, azure lagoons surround white sandy beaches. This is the famous Blue Lagoon – the Fiji you dream of. As the name suggests, the water is the most inviting shades of blue you will ever see!

Blue Lagoon Resort
You can’t dream of a more beautiful beach than this one. Pure white sand, azure waters and swaying palm trees set the scene for the up-market Blue Lagoon Resort.
Picture paradise and you’ll start to get a good idea of the setting of this lovely resort. Situated on one of the most stunning stretches of beaches, you won’t believe the beauty until you see it yourself.
The island of Nacula has soft rolling peaks, which reach down to the sandiest stretch of beach you’ve ever seen. The water is a mix of aqua and turquoise that will make you want to dive right in.
Now for the resort: Blue Lagoon is up-market, modern and has a fantastic Fijian flavour to it. The accommodation is superb and caters to the flash-packer, families, and the honeymoon market.
The accommodation options range from award-winning dorms to Bula Lodge Rooms to the more up-market garden villas. The sand-floor beachside restaurant and bar is a feature of the resort, with a full range of drinks. It’s kind of like a cool city bar but on the beach! The chefs like to utilise local ingredients and add their flair to the tasty menu.

Located in the beautiful Blue Lagoon region, this clean and tidy resort offers a fantastic range of activities.
Coralview is a well-established resort and situated in a large grassy clearing. The bures are only a few steps from the beach and overlook the turquoise waters of the Blue Lagoon.
All bures have ensuites and are of a good standard. The new dorms are air-conditioned and comfortable, just a short stroll to the beach.
There are plenty of things to do at Coralview. The owners have added a host of features and attractions to this resort, including an awesome dive centre. Try the shark dive for a thrill! There are jet ski tours to the Sawailau Caves and reef sites for snorkelling. The resort has small beach but there is plenty of coral to view just off the beach.
Meals are included at set times. There is also a small superette and boutique. You won’t find this anywhere else in the Yasawas!
Night-time means party-time at Coralview with lively Fijian entertainment and games.
Coralview strive to be as self-sustaining as possible by fishing and growing their own vegetable garden – ask for a tour. Friendly staff and lots of fellow travellers make this a great place to stay and explore the picturesque Blue Lagoon.
Nanuya island Resort
If you’re looking for peace, tranquillity and romance, this is the resort for you. This lovely accommodation is set in the stunning Nanuya Lailai island region.
This fabulous property looks out across the stunning waters of the Blue Lagoon and lies at the end of a gorgeous long sandy beach. The team will welcome you ashore with a cool tropical drink. From that moment on you’ll feel relaxed and immediately at home.
Treehouse bures are set on the hillside overlooking the lagoon. They have ensuite bathrooms, a small deck to take in the view, tea and coffee making facilities and a small fridge. The larger Deluxe Villas are located close to the beach and main complex. All bures have ensuites and are fan-cooled with louvre windows for breeze.
A large open air restaurant / bar / lounge provides an ideal area to relax and look out across the lagoon. Included is Contintental breakfast. Enjoy an a la carte menu for lunch and dinner. The Chef prepares meals using the freshest produce.

LONG BEACH RESORT
This friendly Fijian-run resort has modern bures set in lovely gardens.
Situated on the long, hilly island of Matacawalevu, Long Beach Resort is nestled on one of the longest, whitest, sandiest beaches in the Yasawas.
The small Fijian-style property encompasses modern bures set in tropical gardens. On one side of the resort you look out to the open ocean, and on the other, into the beautiful sheltered Blue Lagoon – one of Fiji’s treasures. A family run resort, employing Yasawan locals who will make you feel most welcome.
There is superb swimming and snorkelling off Goat Island just opposite the resort, and if you’re keen to burn some energy, try your hand at beach volleyball. This has to be the most picturesque location for a volleyball court in the world! A large beachside deck makes a great place for dining, sipping on cocktails and dancing the night away.
Known as one of Fiji’s friendliest resorts, Korovou Eco-Tour Resort has a strong family atmosphere along with a fantastic location, right on the beach.
Beautiful Naviti, is one of the largest islands in the Yasawa group. The strong family atmosphere means that all guests become part of the community. You’ll feel so at home, you will never want to leave!
The resort is set in the centre of a long sandy beach, has a beachside dining area and a fresh water swimming pool. The bures are dotted prettily along the beach and to the rear of the resort is a church built for the locals, and where visitors are welcome on Sundays. Church in Fiji is a cultural experience with wonderful singing by the congregation.
Entertainment is a daily event here. The ‘Gecko Man’ can be seen scaling the coconut palms or join in on Fijian dancing and be mesmerised by the fantastic fire dancing. Drink some kava with men from the village or learn to weave beautiful designs. Impress your friends back home by learning how to create Fijian dishes. Taste kokoda (pronounced ko-kon-da), a mouth-watering marinated fish.
